Tapie's is the Victoria bar tourists walk past without noticing — which is exactly the point. Plastic chairs, fluorescent light, the football on a screen most of the regulars aren't watching. The bartender knows the order before you sit down, if you've been twice.
It's not a destination. It's a stop on the way home from somewhere else, or a place to sit for an hour and let the day finish itself.
