A subscription for small businesses on Gozo. We keep your listing accurate, put you in front of people who care about what you make, and ask nothing of your time.

Who this is for

You make ftira, or coffee, or art, or wine. You run a small studio, a retreat, a kitchen, a workshop. You're open seasonally, or year-round, or just when you feel like it. Tourists walk past your door because they don't know you exist. Your Facebook page has the wrong hours from two years ago.

You don't have time to fix any of this. That's where we come in.

What it costs

€20 a month. Or €200 a year, which saves you €40 if you pay up front. Break-even is one extra customer a month, so the maths is forgiving.

We invoice you by email — bank transfer, Revolut, or cash in hand. No card on file, no recurring charge unless you've specifically asked us to set one up. End-of-month expiry on cancellation; no refunds for partial months.

What you get

• A place card kept accurate. Our system checks your listing every two weeks — hours, phone, website. If something drifts, we fix it.
• A slot in the WhatsNew newsletter.Once a month we send out what's on in Gozo. Partners get featured in rotation.
• A "Local Partner" mark on your card.Subtle. Travellers recognise it; we don't shout it.
• A direct line to the editor.New photos, hours change, a one-off event you want covered — WhatsApp or email us and we'll get to it within the week.
• First option on adspace. If you want extra newsletter exposure, you can book a spotlight slot at the Partner rate before non-Partners can.

What you don't get

This is the part most subscription products fudge. We won't.

• Editorial control.Being a Partner doesn't mean we'll write whatever you want about your business. We write what we honestly think, in our voice. If we observe something worth noting, we note it.
• Paid stories that aren't true.You can commission a feature, but we keep the angle. If we don't feel the piece works after writing it, we won't publish it — and we'll talk to you about why.
• A dashboard.No login, no analytics popup, no notifications. You paid us so you wouldn't have to think about this.

The wall is the moat. If we sold sanitised editorial to anyone — Partner or not — the whole publication would be worthless within a year. The wall holds for your sake too.

How it works

1. You fill out the application form.
2. We read it. We reply within five business days, usually faster. If we don't think you're a fit — wrong category, the editorial wouldn't hold up, the voice doesn't match — we'll tell you, and there's no payment.
3. If we accept, we email you payment details. Once payment lands, your card gets the Partner mark and you're in the next newsletter rotation.
4. From then on: we maintain. You make the thing you make.
